Ill be replacing them with the latest D4S Philips globes, which are the new generation globes, and are quoted at 4800K with 3800 lumens compared to the D2S Philips 4300K at 3200 lumens. When the headlights come ill have a look at what globes they take. You cant buy them without the ballasts afaik, as every 06 headlight is bi-xenon now. The 06 headlights come with the ballasts and globes attached to the headlight. I have a pair of 06 bi-xenons being flown in from Japan as we speak. The problem isnt the hid kit itself but the headlight design, which spreads the light nice and wide but doesnt lay down enough light in front of the car ![]() Everyone says its fine, but i have cars at home with oem projector hids, and the output isnt the same.
